Return of a Classic

We all had an favorite old show we used to watch. One that was in reruns even when we were born. Mine was the Sci-Fi classic Doctor Who. I bring this up now because it has come to my attention that Doctor Who has been revived in recent years.
Old favorites from the original, such as Cybermen, Daleks, and the Doctor's arch nemesis the Master make appearances, and the executives have selected excellent new actors to fill the role of the titular Doctor.
Christopher Eccleston played the role throughout the first season before passing the torch on to David Tennant. The current Doctor is Matt Smith, who is the 11th incarnation of the legendary character, as well as the youngest Actor ever to take up the mantle.
For those who are unaware, the Doctor(like his nemesis the Master) is an alien called a Time Lord, and has the ability to "regenerate," allowing him to escape death while taking on a new form or body. The trick is commonly used as a way for the previous actor to bow out with grace and allow a new up and coming actor to take on the role. It runs on BBC America and I highly recommend it.
