Jay Z aka Shawn Corey Carter is one of the most talented and business savvy black men alive! I hear people say Jay Z is overrated and not lyrical and it's complete nonesense to me and ill give you more than a few reasons why. You be the judge after you hear these facts! Jay Z have sold over 50 million records worldwide. Jay Z is the owner of the 40/40 Club a upscale sports bar that has expanded from New York to Chicago to Atlantic City and now will be opening in Tokyo and Singapore soon. Jay Z have been involved in not one but three of his own clothing lines. He is the founder of Roc Nation and was the co-founder of Rock-A- Fella Records that he sold a couple years ago. He has recieved more awards than i could count. Jay Z owns a real estate company and is co director of Budweiser Select. Jay Z also gives back to the community he gave 1 million to the hurricane relief efforts and have toured tp raise awarness for the water shortage. Jay Z is also political he did free shows in 2008 to campaign for Obama and have grown a relationship with the President. The President stated "Everytime I talk to Jay Z who is a brillaint and talented good guy, I enoy how he thinks". The President is vouching for the man is there anything else left to be said. I only named a few of Jay Z accomplishments but i just wanted to give you some examples of his accomplishments. Many view rappers as drug dealers and criminals but Jay Z is one rapper that you can look up to. Jay Z came from the Marcy projects a low income facility and now owns many properties and businnes, he is the definition of the sky is the limit. Now ask yourself why is Shawn Carer the best rapper and business man alive. I think he's the best because he gives back to the community. Shawn also is married to one of the queens of r&b Beyonce. Jay Z knows how to make moves and show professionalism.
The idea that he's overrated as a rap artist would refer to his actual music. So, it would have made sense to address particular songs or CDs that showcase his talent.

Just because a stupid president vouches for someone doesn't make him smart it just makes the president stupid. By the way I like reading your post but it is to long Cindi is right make smaller paragraphs.
